Christmas at Destiny Village Haiti

Merry Christmas and Thank You to everyone who supports Destiny Village. Thank you for your prayers and financial support. You are making a difference in the lives of these children and the community in which they live. This trip to Destiny Village was my best trip ever. I know I say that every time I go but I really mean it. We began Destiny Village nearly twelve years ago. Our older boys are now grown young men and many have taken leadership roles. The Spirit of the Lord reigns on the property at Destiny Village. In the midst of extreme poverty, Destiny Village is a light shining in the darkness. To all of you who have visited Destiny Village you know what I am talking about. The love in these children melt your heart. If you have not yet visited pray about a trip.

We do have an immediate need at Destiny Village. After years and hundreds of hours of use our generators have been repaired many times. In the past few months the generators have not been working regularly. Which means the freezers defrost and refrigerators do not keep food cold, the children have no lights when they get home from school. Our immediate financial need is a new generator. The cost is approximately $15,000. Please pray about your support in the new year of 2012. If you are able to help in any way please log on www.destinyvillage.org.

Dana and Rhonda Gregory

Rhonda and Dana are a vital part of Destiny Church. They lead a discipleship class each Sunday at 9:30 am (just outside cafeteria). If you have recently given your life to Jesus or you want to grow deeper and stronger come join them. They are fun to be with and they love God's word.

Divine Dip

This is a video from our recent visit to Church on the North Coast in Lorain, Ohio. It has been a while since this blog has been updated so hold on I am going to try to catch up with the past year.

Water Baptism in the Gulf

This was Sunday, September 28th. Directly after service we headed down to Wiggins Pass and Pastor Greg baptised Brent, Jen, Gabe, Alexandria and Kaitlin. Wow what an awesome time. It was raining so we took our umbrellas. It worked out great because all the parking spots were available for us. It turned out to be a beautiful peaceful baptism. It was warm and the water was calm with small waves splashing on the sand and shells.

Dinner, Pier and Miniture Golf

Wow God is so awesome! We are excited to look back over the past year and 1/2 and see all the Lord has done for us. He has given us an amazing church family. The quote God gave me last year "Building Community One Family at a Time" truly has been our walk. We are meeting new families every week and building lifetime friendships. We recently announce that we wanted to go out on Friday night. We had 26 friends that showed up. That is blessed! I told Greg last year this time I don't think we even had that many coming to church. We had a great time. We went to The Dock Restaurant, strolled down the Naples Pier, stopped by Sonic for a strawberry limeade, then played 18 holes of mini golf. Here are just a few of our pics.
